About Oreo (great with kids, calm, house trained, cuddly, friendly)

Oreo is a sweet, cuddly, and friendly girl with a personality as delightful as her name! After spending 10 long months in a shelter, she underwent heartworm treatment and is now ready to find her forever home. Oreo absolutely adores children, and her foster family has a 19-month-old toddler whom Oreo cherishes. She also enjoys the company of her male boxer foster brother, who has taught her a lot. Oreo hasn't met a human she doesn't like and thrives on affection. She'll greet you with a wagging tail and a toy in her mouth, and she loves to entertain with her thumping tail, playing fetch with her favorite stuffies, and nudging for belly rubs. Oreo is also a fan of water and will happily splash in a kiddie pool. While she gets along well with her foster dog brother, she can be vocal when she sees other dogs on walks. This is a work in progress, and if her future family includes another dog, she'd do best with a laid-back male who can handle her occasional barking. Oreo is well-behaved when left alone and doesn't engage in destructive chewing or scratching. She's been waiting patiently and truly deserves a loving home. If you're ready to meet your next best friend for adventures or cozy couch cuddles, Oreo is the one!

Ideal Home

Oreo would do best in a home that can provide her with plenty of love and attention. If there's a canine sibling, a laid-back male dog would be the best fit to help her with her vocal tendencies on walks.

Ongoing Health

Oreo has completed her heartworm treatment.

Training & Support

Oreo is house-trained and doesn't exhibit destructive behaviors when left alone. She is working on being less vocal when seeing other dogs on walks.
