Hi there! I'm Patty, a sweet, curious, and energetic pup with a heart-shaped nose and a personality as big as Texas, even though I'm a bit chilly now that I'm up north! I'm missing a bit of my tail, but trust me, I haven't missed out on any fun or personality! I can be a little shy and timid when I first meet new people or try new things, but I warm up quickly once I understand what's expected. I absolutely love snuggling up in a cozy blanket, especially when it's chilly. I sleep soundly in my kennel at night and am a quiet companion.
I'm making great progress with potty training and am doing very well with frequent potty breaks. I'll need someone to continue teaching me good manners, like polite leash walking – I love treats and really want to do the right thing, so I'm eager to learn! As a puppy, I adore playing with toys, especially bones and chew toys. I also enjoy chasing balls in the yard with my canine friends, though I prefer to let them fetch while I find a toy! I've been around people of all ages, including little ones, and I love everyone! I do get excited and might jump up to say hello and get some pets, but I'm learning to curb that behavior. I've also met a cat who seems to like me, so I think we'll become friends. I've spent time with bigger dogs and learn a lot from them; I know when they're done playing and I'm happy to find my toys. I'm looking for someone who can see past my initial shyness and recognize the amazing pup I am!
Ideal Home
I'd love a home where I can go on long walks, cuddle with my people, and explore the world. I'm still learning some manners, so a patient owner who can continue my training is key.
