Harper

Harper is a delightful 2-year-old, 50lb mixed breed who is ready to find her forever home. She was adopted a few months ago and initially seemed to be doing well. Her previous family introduced her to dog daycare, where an unfortunate incident occurred when another dog was leaving. While Harper has shown she is generally dog-friendly, she can be a bit sensitive when dogs are overly boisterous or pushy. Her previous owners, while noting she did well with their children, felt overwhelmed by the prospect of introducing her to new dogs and decided to return her. Our goal is to find a home where Harper can truly thrive and feel secure. She enjoys playing with other dogs and has a playful spirit, but we recommend avoiding dog parks.

Ideal Home

A home that understands that while Harper is dog-friendly, she needs calm and controlled introductions to new canine companions. A home without dog parks would be ideal, but continued socialization in appropriate settings is encouraged.

Harper is fully vetted.

Training & Support

Harper is generally good with children and dog-friendly, but may need ongoing guidance on how to navigate introductions to other dogs. With patient and understanding owners, Harper will surely continue to blossom.
