Meet Charlie! This sweet little girl was found abandoned south of Dallas alongside her mama and brother. While we may never know exactly what their life looked like before rescue, we do know that Charlie arrived with a severely damaged eye that ultimately had to be removed. Today, Charlie is officially rocking her adorable permanent wink, and she's happier than ever! She's approximately 5 months old and weighs around 18 pounds, expected to remain a wonderful medium-small companion, likely maturing to 35 pounds or less. Charlie has every reason in the world to be cautious, but instead, she chooses love. She has never met a stranger and greets everyone, whether they're a child, an adult, another dog, or someone she met 30 seconds ago, with enthusiastic tail wags, kisses, and excitement. She loves being held, making new friends, and seems convinced that every person she encounters was put on earth specifically to love her. When she's not making new friends, you'll often find Charlie stretched out in a sunny spot, soaking up the warmth and lounging like she's on a tiny puppy vacation.
Ideal Home
Charlie is wonderful with kids and great with other dogs. She's friendly with everyone she meets and loves to sunbathe. She is a quiet dog and rarely barks.
Ongoing Health
Charlie had to have an eye removed due to severe damage. She is now completely unfazed by her missing eye.
Training & Support
Charlie is crate trained and is working on potty training.

Charlie is currently located in Dallas, TX. She can travel via trusted transport partners once an adoption is approved.
