If the dictionary had a picture beside the words “large and in charge,” it would definitely be Rufus. This goofy boy is full of personality, confidence, and herding dog energy! Rufus is incredibly smart and thrives when he has a job to do. Like many herding breeds, he naturally wants to herd anything that moves — especially children — and may nip at heels when trying to “work.” Don’t let his working instincts fool you though, underneath all that energy is a sweet, loyal boy who just wants guidance, structure, and someone to keep up with him. Rufus would love an active home where he can stay mentally and physically engaged. He’s goofy, handsome, and full of character... and he’s ready to find his perfect match.

Rufus would do best in a home with a small adult-only family and no young kids.
