Chip is a sweet, 2-year-old, neutered male Pit bull mix who weighs around 60 lbs. He's a playful, curious, and loving boy who is looking for an experienced adopter to shower him with patience, safety, and endless love. Chip is a true "velcro dog" who loves to cuddle and be by his people's side. While he can be a little cautious when meeting new people, he quickly blossoms into a devoted best friend once he trusts you.
Chip adores his foster family, enjoys going on sniffing walks (and is a good leash walker!), and is already crate-trained and potty-trained. He also loves spending time outdoors and is quite the fashionista, rocking costumes with enthusiasm! He has gotten along well with his calm foster dog siblings, who appreciate his playful energy. Chip would do best with calm, more submissive doggy companions who enjoy interactive play, or he could be the only dog in a home as long as he gets to go on outings regularly. However, he would prefer a home without cats.
Ideal Home
Chip would thrive in a home where he can be your constant companion. He can experience some anxiety when left alone, but he is working on this and can be crated. He'd love a family that's committed to continuing his training and will enjoy his enthusiastic play style once he's settled in. Chip also enjoys car rides and accompanying his humans on outings. He has done well with older children.
Ongoing Health
Chip is up to date on vaccinations and has been neutered.
Training & Support
Chip is crate-trained and potty-trained. He is working on his separation anxiety and can be crated when left alone. He would benefit from continued training and socialization, especially with other dogs.
