Meet Beacon!
Beacon is a small, male Chihuahua weighing in at a mighty 5.9 lbs. This one-eyed wonder is a ball of sass who believes trust is earned, not given. While he may not hand out his affection freely, once you've earned a spot in Beacon's inner circle, you'll have a fiercely loyal companion who will defend you with all his might. He doesn't love easily, but when he loves, he loves HARD! Beacon has a strong opinion about his personal space and will guard his favorite lap with the intensity of a dragon. He has a zero-tolerance policy for nonsense but is surprisingly chill about being dressed up in adorable outfits and socks, especially when he knows he looks good! Beacon gets along well with other small and calm dogs who understand boundaries. He's seeking a peaceful home where he can rule from his favorite throne – your lap! An adopter who is patient, understanding, and appreciates that the best relationships are the ones you have to earn will be rewarded with his devotion.
Ideal Home
Beacon thrives in a calm environment and would do best with an adopter who understands his need for personal space until he decides otherwise. He's looking for a peaceful kingdom where he can rule from his favorite lap.
Ongoing Health
Beacon has only one eye. All dogs are examined by our veterinarian, are spayed or neutered if old enough, and are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations at the time of adoption. We share all known medical information, but we cannot guarantee future health or rule out underlying conditions.
Training & Support
Beacon is a lap guarder and has strong opinions. He needs an adopter who is patient and understands that trust takes time. Accidents are normal during the transition to a new home, and additional training should be expected.
