Meet Scooter, a sweet, loving, and absolutely perfect companion! Affectionately known as Scottie or Scootie-Patootie, he has a way of scooting closer to his favorite people, melting hearts with his soulful eyes and pure heart. While his early years are a mystery, Scooter clearly experienced some trauma, arriving at the Sanctuary terrified of collars and leashes. However, with patience and persistence, he overcame his fear and now eagerly anticipates his walks, enjoying exploring with his people. He's a surprisingly great loose-leash walker and his absolute favorite part of the day is cuddle time, complete with tummy rubs, loving pets, and words of admiration! Scooter is a low-energy pup who deserves a home filled with love, affection, and plenty of treats!

Training & Support

Scooter was previously terrified of collars and leashes but has overcome this fear. He walks well on a loose leash. He is not house-trained.
