Peter is a charming male pit bull terrier mix who is looking for his forever home. He's a dog who understands that trust is something special. When he first arrived, the world felt like a pretty big and uncertain place, but day by day he has shown just how much courage and heart he has. Beneath that cautious exterior is a playful, affectionate dog who wants to connect with people and enjoy life. Once Peter feels comfortable, his personality shines through with happy zoomies, gentle treat-taking, soft tail wags, and a goofy side that is impossible not to love. He has worked hard to build confidence and has come a long way from the nervous dog who first entered the shelter.
