Gardenia

Gardenia is a sensitive, soulful girl who is learning that the world can be a safe and loving place. When she first meets new people, she can be very fearful and needs patience and gentle understanding. Give her a little time, though, and she’ll show her true self—one who just wants to curl up in your lap and feel close to her person. She forms deep, meaningful bonds and will be incredibly devoted to the person who earns her trust. She’s looking for someone who can spend much of the day with her and provide consistency, comfort, and reassurance.

Ideal Home

Gardenia will need a calm home with children ages 13 and up, where her boundaries are respected and she can continue to grow in confidence at her own pace. She would do best as the only pet in the home while she continues to work on her social skills.

Ongoing Health

Gardenia is spayed.

Training & Support

Gardenia can be fearful with new people and needs patience and gentle understanding. She needs consistency, comfort, and reassurance to build confidence.
