Koa

Koa is a handsome, two-year-old cattle dog mix who is looking for a special foster or forever home. He absolutely adores other dogs and loves to play with them, big or small! In his foster home, Koa is mostly confident, though he can still be startled by sudden movements and loud noises. He is crate trained and well-behaved in the house.

Ideal Home

Koa would do best in a quiet, country or rural setting with minimal stimulation. He is looking for a home that has experience with shy and anxious dogs, and the patience to help him build confidence. He can be a bit much for smaller dogs, but he gets along well with confident, well-adjusted young dogs.

Ongoing Health

Koa is up-to-date on vaccines and has been neutered.

Training & Support

Koa is still working on building his confidence, especially outside of the home where he can be insecure. He needs a patient adopter who can help him overcome his anxieties.
