Meet Clara! She's an adorable 1-month-and-8-day-old tan Terrier mix with a gentle, loving personality and a playful puppy spirit. Clara is full of curiosity, cuddles, and tail wags, and she's ready to find a forever family to grow up with. Clara and her siblings were found as strays and brought to a local shelter, where their mom gave birth to the puppies. Wanting to give them the best chance at life, Homeless Pets Foundation stepped in to rescue Mom and her five puppies, providing them with a safe, loving foster home while they wait for their forever families. Clara has been well socialized from an early age and has been exposed to a variety of people, environments, and everyday experiences. She's a happy, confident puppy who enjoys meeting new friends and gets along wonderfully with her siblings and other dogs. Like any young puppy, Clara loves to play, explore, and discover the world around her. She's also happy to snuggle up for a nap after playtime. She'll thrive with a family that's ready to guide her through puppyhood with positive training, patience, and lots of love. Clara has grown up surrounded by her siblings and has a friendly, easygoing nature. She would do well in a home with another playful dog or as the only pup, where she can soak up all the love and attention. Ongoing Health

The Georgia Department of Agriculture requires all adopted pets to be spayed/neutered and appropriately vaccinated before their adoption can be completed.

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• Puppies may be available through our Foster-to-Adopt program. This means you will foster the puppy in your home until they are old enough to be spayed/neutered and receive their rabies vaccine. Once those requirements are completed, we will finalize the adoption paperwork. We'll review the Foster-to-Adopt process and answer any questions during your adoption conversation.

Clara is in a foster home in the Athens, GA area. Transportation may be available for approved adopters.
