Meet Taffy! This sweet 1-year-old Terrier X, weighing in at 23lbs, has already overcome so much. When she arrived, her fur was so matted and neglected that it must have been painful to move. Underneath it all was a scared little soul who hadn't known proper care, comfort, or love for too long. Despite her past, Taffy remains gentle and yearns for trust and affection. She leans into kindness softly, as if hoping it's real this time. Now that her painful mats are gone, Taffy is ready to start her new life, learning what it feels like to be safe, cared for, and loved. She is looking for someone who will see her potential and focus on who she can become. A warm bed, gentle hands, patience, and love are all this girl has ever wanted.
