About Bella, the Girl Who Never Stopped Hoping

Meet Bella, the Girl Who Never Stopped Hoping! This gorgeous 1-year-old German Shepherd mix, weighing about 55lbs, was found tied to a post, a heartbreaking start to her young life. But Bella is a resilient and spirited soul, ready to leave her past behind and embrace a future filled with love and stability. She's blossomed into an affectionate, silly, and wonderfully bright companion who's eager to find a family that will cherish her forever.

Ideal Home

Bella is looking for an active home where she can receive continued training, daily exercise, and plenty of playtime. Her ideal adopter will appreciate her intelligence, goofy affection, and the unique charm of a Shepherd. Because Bella currently views cats as chaseable, she needs to be in a home without them. She also has a tendency to chew when bored, so she'll do best with structure, plenty of toys, and consistent activity.

Ongoing Health

Bella is fully vetted, including being spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed, and on heartworm prevention. She is healthy and ready for her new life.

Training & Support

Bella is a smart girl who is eager to please! She walks nicely on a harness, knows "sit" and "stay," and is fully housetrained and crate-trained. She's working on not jumping when excited, and with continued training and engagement, she'll continue to thrive. Her favorite thing in the world is a frozen peanut butter Kong!
