About MARLOW

Marlow is a 15-month-old, 75 lb Border Collie/Lab mix with an incredible zest for life! She's a super friendly goofball who loves to make her humans laugh with her antics, like doing somersaults on her toys (and sometimes the couch!). Marlow has an abundant amount of energy and is always ready for playtime, but she can also settle down to a more relaxed "6" when it's time to unwind. She's incredibly smart and has mastered commands like SIT, LAY DOWN, GO TO BED, COME, EASY, and DROP IT. Marlow is also house-trained and sleeps soundly in her crate at night or when home alone. She's a great traveler and loves car rides!

Ideal Home

Marlow would thrive in a home that can match her high energy levels with plenty of playtime and attention. She'd love to be an active part of the family, a devoted sidekick, or even participate in activities like agility. While she's generally gentle, she can be possessive of her toys and food when other dogs are around, so she eats in her crate. She also needs a home that understands her need for tough chew toys and provides supervision due to her tendency to destroy and ingest her toys.

Ongoing Health

Marlow has no known separation anxiety, storm anxiety, or other behavioral issues.

Training & Support

Marlow is a quick learner and knows several commands. She communicates her need to go outside by ringing bells or barking. While she generally has good manners, she may need some refinement around very young children. She is not fond of being brushed. Her prey drive is moderate, and she enjoys chasing birds and their shadows, and she has also been known to chase cats and kill chickens, though she does not harm the cats.
