Koko

Koko is a beautiful, unique girl who’s learning what it means to just be a dog! She is 4 years old, spayed, and fully healthy. When she first arrived, she was shy and unsure, but she’s made incredible progress and continues to blossom every day. She has been with us for over a year now and is a completely different dog. She’s doing great with other dogs, learning how to play, and loves running and jumping around the yard. Indoors, she’s calm, crate-trained, and prefers her own cozy bed next to yours. She’s not a big cuddler yet, but she’ll nudge your hand or paw at you when she wants affection. Koko walks wonderfully on leash and did amazing at the dog park meeting new dogs and people. She’s still wary of new sounds but never reacts aggressively — just with curiosity. Koko is smart, sensitive, and eager to learn. With kindness and consistency, she’ll be the most loyal and joyful companion you could ask for.

Koko needs a patient, loving home that will give her time to build confidence and continue her journey.

Training & Support

Koko is crate-trained and walks wonderfully on leash. She is still learning about new sounds and may be wary, but she shows curiosity rather than aggression.
