About Briggs Bubba Sweet Boy Energy

Briggs Bubba is approximately 4 months old and weighs around 14 lbs. We believe he may be a Lab/Australian Shepherd mix, but with rescue, it's always a mystery and we can never guarantee breed.

Every puppy has their thing. Some are the quiet observers. Some are the cuddle bugs. And then there's Briggs Bubba... the one that's usually responsible for making everyone laugh and equally supplying cuddly at the same time. If there is fun to be had, Briggs has already found it. He's the puppy proudly sprinting through the yard with a toy in his mouth, flopping over mid-play because he got a little too excited, or looking at you with those goofy expressions that somehow get funnier every time you see them. He has this happy-go-lucky personality that's completely contagious. You can't help but smile when he's around. The best part though? Underneath all those silly puppy antics is one incredibly sweet little guy. Briggs absolutely loves his people. He's affectionate, eager to be included, and has one of those personalities that just makes everyday life more fun. Add in his rich chocolatey brown coat, adorable floppy ears, and those gorgeous light green eyes, and you've got one seriously lovable puppy. Briggs is the kind of puppy that keeps life entertaining. Toys are one of his favorite things, and he's more than happy to make up his own games if nobody else is available to play. He's wonderfully goofy, full of personality, and always seems to find a way to make people laugh. His foster likes to call him the class clown because he always seems to be doing something that puts a smile on everyone's face. As playful as he is, Briggs also has a really sweet side. He's affectionate, loves spending time with his people, and is the kind of puppy that wants to be involved in whatever you're doing. He's also a smart little guy. He already knows how to sit, walks surprisingly well on a leash for a puppy his age, absolutely loves treats, and genuinely enjoys learning. He's the kind of puppy that's always trying his best, which somehow just makes him even more lovable. Briggs is currently thriving in a foster home where he's learning all about what it means to be a puppy. His days are filled with playing, exploring, eating, napping, and soaking up all the love he can get. He's fostered alongside his siblings and two wonderful adult dogs. One is a tiny but mighty 9-pound Chiweenie that's more than happy to remind the puppies who's boss when necessary, and the other is a gentle adult female who's basically become the puppies' honorary mom. Briggs has done wonderfully with everyone and loves having dogs to learn and play with. Like any young puppy, Briggs is still learning all the important puppy skills. He's already crate trained and sleeps quietly through the night in his kennel like a champ. Potty training is still a work in progress, but he's already catching on quickly. All he needs now is a family that's willing to continue providing the routine, structure, consistency, and positive reinforcement every puppy needs while growing up. One of the greatest parts about bringing home a puppy is getting to watch their personality continue to blossom. The goofy moments become funnier, the bond becomes stronger, and before you know it, this silly little puppy has become your very best friend. We have a feeling Briggs is going to fill his future home with laughter, happy memories, and more than a few stories that start with, "You won't believe what Briggs did today..." Like every puppy, Briggs will need a family that's ready to continue helping him become a confident, well-rounded adult dog. Continued socialization, routine, training, boundaries, and positive experiences are all incredibly important during these early months. We also require adopters to begin crate training immediately after bringing their puppy home, as it helps with potty training, building confidence, creating healthy routines, and giving puppies a safe place that's all their own. If your idea of the perfect puppy is one that keeps you laughing just as often as he melts your heart, Briggs might just be your guy. He's sweet, goofy, incredibly handsome, and already proving that life is simply more fun when he's around. We are willing to test Briggs Bubba with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know.
