About Kayley

Kayley and her sisters were part of an unwanted litter of puppies surrendered to a shelter in south Texas. Faced with overcrowding, they were at risk of euthanasia but were thankfully rescued by one of our fosters. After a month of essential veterinary care with us, Kayley is now healthy and eager to find her forever home!

Kayley is a wonderfully loving girl with a truly laid-back personality. She adores being indoors and cherishes quality time with her people. A devoted cuddler, she's happiest when she's right by your side. She already knows how to sit and is enthusiastically learning more commands. Walks are a joy for Kayley, and she also loves car rides! She gets along beautifully with other dogs of all ages and sizes, is fantastic with children, and has even been around toddlers as young as two. Plus, she's cat-friendly!

Kayley is currently 5 months old and weighs 25 pounds. She's a Border Collie mix and is expected to reach about 40 pounds when fully grown. She has been spayed, vaccinated for rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella, microchipped, heartworm negative, and is up-to-date on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Ideal Home

Kayley would thrive in a home where she can be a beloved companion. She enjoys being part of the family's activities and is happy to relax with her people.

Ongoing Health

Kayley is in excellent health and has received all her age-appropriate vaccinations and preventative care.

Training & Support

Kayley knows how to sit and is eager to learn more. Continued positive reinforcement training will help her blossom. Her love for walks and car rides suggests she'll be a great adventure buddy!
