Burdy

Meet Burdy! This handsome, approximately 1-year-old Lab mix is a sweet boy who weighs around 40 lbs. Burdy was found as a stray and thankfully taken in by some kind people who got him the vet care he needed. He's now in a foster home, settling in, and enjoying the good life. He's doing great in the house and gets along wonderfully with other dogs and all people.

Ideal Home

Burdy is a social butterfly who loves other dogs and people. He's settling in well in his foster home and is doing great!

Ongoing Health

Burdy was treated for fungal skin infections and is now on the mend. He is up-to-date on vaccinations, tested heartworm negative (below detectable levels), and neutered.

Training & Support

Burdy is doing great in the house, but as with any dog in a new environment, there's always a chance of accidents. New situations, families, and routines can sometimes lead to a temporary adjustment period.

• Adoptions are not on a first-come, first-served basis.
• There is no fee to apply.
• The adoption fee for dogs is $195, which includes a vet check, age-appropriate shots, dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if at least 16 weeks), and spay/neuter.
