Prepare yourself for an overwhelming amount of fluff! Maximilian, a roughly 2-month-old, 10lb bundle of joy, looks like a teddy bear crossed with a baby polar bear. He's the kind of puppy that makes people instinctively want to scoop him up for cuddles. With giant fluffy paws, cloud-like fur, and a sweet puppy face, Maximilian is simply impossible to resist. He's currently living his best puppy life in a foster home, exploring the world through play, naps, mealtime, and gentle socialization. His days are filled with discovering toys, wrestling with siblings, collecting cuddles, filling his belly, and taking epic naps. We believe he may be a Great Pyrenees/German Shepherd mix, but as with all rescues, his exact breed is a mystery.
Ideal Home
Maximilian is a playful pup who also loves to snuggle. He'll need a family that's ready for all the joys and adventures of puppyhood, including continued socialization, training, consistency, and plenty of positive experiences.
Ongoing Health
Maximilian has received age-appropriate vetting, including DAPP vaccinations with a booster, Bordetella, Rabies, and multiple deworming treatments. He is microchipped and will be spayed/neutered before adoption. He also receives flea and heartworm prevention.
Training & Support
We require adopters to begin crate training as soon as their puppy arrives home. This is crucial for potty training, developing independence, managing energy levels, and establishing healthy lifelong habits. Our on-site trainers work with our foster dogs on various skills, including crate training, potty training, and leash walking, and we offer extensive behavioral information from our staff to help ensure a great match.

Transportation
Maximilian is located in Texas. We facilitate nationwide adoptions using our USDA-certified transport system. This service includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (with pickup options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
