She's also leash-trained, crate-trained, and fully house-trained, making her an easy addition to a loving home. Sky's calm demeanor extends to other animals; she doesn't react to cats or squirrels on walks, making her a pleasure to take anywhere. While she can be a little nervous around strangers initially, her sweet and affectionate nature shines through once she feels safe. Sky was rescued from the streets of Houston, TX, along with her siblings after they were abandoned as puppies. Thanks to her rescue, she's discovered love and security and is now ready to find a forever family that will provide a stable, patient, and loving home. Ideal Home
Families that enjoy outdoor activities, a home with a fenced backyard, and families with an open conscience about the needs of rescued street animals. Experience in dog behavior and training, along with high tolerance and patience for rescued animals, is preferred.
Ongoing Health
Sky has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated for DHPPI, rabies, and Bordetella, and has been dewormed. She has a negative heartworm test and a health certificate. Her vaccines booklet is also available.
Training & Support
While Sky is generally well-behaved, she may need time to warm up to strangers. The rescue organization emphasizes that they are unable to house-train every fostered pet due to the sheer number of animals they care for, so this is something adopters should be prepared to work on.

Transporation
Sky is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas, and is ready to travel to the East Coast and PNW if adopted. Transport is available for an additional fee.
