Robin

Robin is a 1.5-year old, 37 lb male Aussie Cattle Dog mix who is trim, lanky, and just wants to be someone's best friend and sidekick! He was abandoned by his previous family but was thankfully rescued by a kind foster who helped him settle in. Robin repaid their kindness with plenty of love and kisses. He does very well with other dogs, including a new foster puppy, and adores children.

Ideal Home

Robin would likely do best with slightly older children (over 8) as he can get a bit overly enthusiastic with his greetings. An active home where he can enjoy runs, hikes, or doggy playdates would be ideal for him to expend his youthful energy.

Ongoing Health

Robin has no known ongoing health issues. His adoption fee includes all core vaccinations (DHPP, rabies), spay/neuter, and microchip.

Training & Support

Robin is crate and potty trained and is making great progress with leash training, though he may pull a bit initially due to his eagerness to meet new people. With some gentle guidance and positive reinforcement for "four paws on the floor," he'll quickly learn to manage his excitement. As he was previously abandoned, he may need a little extra time and reassurance to feel fully settled and secure in his new home, but he is a very rewarding companion.

Robin is currently located in South Texas. He can be transported to various states on the East and West Coast, including Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, and Maryland.
