Cannon is a playful, zany, affectionate Beagle/Basset Hound mix who loves cuddling, stealing the covers, people, and other dogs. He came to DASH from rural Kentucky and is currently in the DASH Prison Program, where he is learning to become a wonderful companion.

Ideal Home

Cannon would thrive with an active family or person who understands that his breed mix needs plenty of activity before settling in for relaxed time together. He has not been tested with children or cats, so proper introductions are needed. He may bark at strangers and enjoys taking things to chew, so his family should be attentive and vigilant.

Training & Support

Cannon has mastered a few basic commands and is continuing to work on obedience, crate training, potty training, and leash walking. He is also working on barking at strangers and learning appropriate boundaries around household items.
