Jackson

Energetic, smart, and friendly, Jackson is a 10-year-old, 14-pound Jack Russell Terrier mix with a big personality and a zest for life! He came to us from Coachella Valley Animal Shelter and quickly impressed us with his knowledge of commands like sit, shake, down, and stay. Jackson loves walks, chasing balls, and playing fetch, though he can be a little reluctant to share his favorite toys. With patience and positive reinforcement, he's sure to make great progress! Jackson has done well with other dogs and initially passed a cat test, but his interest in cats in his foster home was a bit too high, so introductions will need to be done carefully. Once he's out of the kennel and able to relax, Jackson transforms into a sweet, well-mannered companion. He's fully potty trained, enjoys couch cuddles, sleeps soundly through the night, and entertains himself well when home alone. Jackson benefits from long walks and enrichment activities to keep him calm and content.
