Meet Chewbacca, affectionately known as "Chewie"! This sweet and social pup is the last of his Star Wars litter, still dreaming of his forever co-pilot. Found abandoned with his siblings, Chewie has blossomed in his foster home in San Diego, California, and is ready to embark on his next adventure. He's a mixed breed, born in August 2025, and is expected to reach a medium size of 45-50 lbs when fully grown. Chewie is a bundle of joy who loves splashing in water, receiving belly rubs, and enjoys gentle affection. He's already proven himself to be a great companion for people and other dogs alike.

Chewbacca is fully vetted and microchipped.

He's already crate-trained and walks nicely on a leash, showing great promise for continued learning and bonding with his new family.

Chewbacca is currently being fostered in San Diego, California. Our rescue is located near Bucerias, Mexico, and we adopt many of our dogs to families in the US and Canada.
