About Ralphie Biggs your Extra Large Wigglebutt

Ralphie Biggs loves like he means it. Not in a subtle way either. This boy is all full-body wiggles, giant smiles, dramatic lean-ins for affection, and the unwavering belief that life is simply better when he's as close to his people as physically possible. Ralphie is the kind of dog that makes people suddenly understand why the phrase "man's best friend" exists in the first place.

This boy has that loyal, ride-or-die, happy-to-just-be-with-you kind of love that feels straight out of a movie. He's the dog that wants to ride shotgun, supervise whatever project you're working on in the backyard, hang out while you grill, wrestle like its his job, and then spend the evening sprawled out next to you on the couch. Between the giant smile, the full-body wiggles, and the fact that he loves with every ounce of his oversized self, Ralphie is the type of dog that leaves a lasting impression on everyone he meets.

Ralphie Biggs is believed to be approximately 1 year old and currently weighs around 72 lbs. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. What we can say confidently though, is that this handsome hunk has enough love packed into his body for an entire neighborhood.

One of the first things you'll notice about Ralphie, besides his show stopping good looks, is how deeply he bonds with his people. His foster describes him as incredibly loving and loyal, and while he adores everyone in the household, it's pretty obvious that he has developed a special bond with the man of the house. The two of them are absolutely thick as thieves. He loves the lady of the house too and is just as happy soaking up attention from his foster's wife as well. He simply has that classic loyal companion personality that makes you feel like you've got a best friend by your side at all times.

Ralphie is a giant lovebug through and through. He doesn't just give affection, he fully commits to it. This is the type of dog that leans his entire body into you for pets, presses up against your side, and somehow always finds a way to be closer than he already was. Add in all that extra squishy skin and you've got a dog that is practically begging to be cuddled. If you're a fan of big, affectionate dogs that don't understand personal space, Ralphie is definitely your guy.

With other dogs, Ralphie is dog friendly and currently lives with a large female dog that he absolutely loves to play with. Their play style is energetic, goofy, and full of wrestling, chase games, and general roughhousing. Because he has become accustomed to that style of play, Ralphie tends to assume that every dog enjoys the same kind of fun. For that reason, we think his ideal situation right now would either be as an only dog where he can soak up all the attention or with a confident playful female dog that enjoys a rough-and-tumble play style and isn't afraid to communicate when she's ready for a break. Ralphie responds well to dogs that set clear boundaries and help keep play balanced. When it comes to kitty friends, no cats for this guy.

Ralphie is crate trained, potty trained, and already knows commands like sit and down. He is also a very smart dog. Sometimes perhaps a little too smart LOL. There are moments where Ralphie suddenly acts like he has never heard a command in his life and is merely a newborn baby experiencing language for the first time. Don't buy it. He absolutely knows what you're asking. This boy thrives with consistency, leadership, structure, and clear expectations. When those things are in place, he really shines. Ralphie also enjoys going on walks around the neighborhood or going on mini adventures. He does fairly well on a leash, but just like any big dog his size, he does best with structured leash walks and with a handler that has some muscle to them.

He loves toys, enjoys spending time outside, and would happily spend hours exploring the backyard, sniffing every smell, sunbathing, and carrying toys around. Energy-wise, Ralphie falls into that semi-active category. He isn't looking to run a marathon every day, but he does need an outlet for his energy and would love a family that enjoys backyard playtime, walks, adventures, and generally including him in their lives. Because of his size, energy level, and love of outdoor time, Ralphie would do best in a home with a securely fenced yard rather than an apartment. He truly enjoys having space to stretch his legs and be a dog.

We can easily picture him spending his mornings making rounds in the yard, his afternoons wrestling with a dog friend or playing with toys, and his evenings curled up next to his people soaking up affection. At the end of the day, Ralphie is exactly what so many big dog lovers are searching for. He's affectionate, loyal, goofy, playful, smart, and full of personality. If you've been looking for a big lovable hunk that wants to be your best friend, your adventure buddy, your cuddle partner, and your backyard supervisor all rolled into one, Ralphie might just be your perfect match.

We are willing to test Ralphie Biggs with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know.
