Duke

Duke is a big, goofy guy who just wants to be loved. He loves to run and play, but also loves getting hugs and belly rubs. He can't wait for a family of his own!

Ideal Home

Duke would do best in a home with teens and older, due to his enthusiastic greetings. He would also do well in a home with another dog, provided introductions are made and a case-by-case decision is made. A very dog-savvy cat would also be appropriate, as Duke can be too enthusiastic in his greetings. Duke requires a home with a fenced-in yard.

Ongoing Health

Duke generally has allergies, which are managed with anti-allergy medicine and eye drops. He will need continuous care throughout his life to manage these allergies. His adoption includes his neuter and cherry-eye surgery, vaccinations, heartworm and tick-borne disease testing, preventative medication, a microchip, and 30 days of free pet insurance.

Training & Support

Duke is housetrained and crate-trained. He is currently working on his leash skills as he is scared of walking on a leash and often freezes.
