Cally is a 3.5-year-old, spayed female Pitbull mix weighing around 40 pounds. She's a bundle of joy with a high-energy spirit, a huge heart, and an even bigger personality! Cally is playful, affectionate, curious, and incredibly kind – she's the kind of dog who brightens every room she enters. She absolutely adores other dogs of all sizes and plays wonderfully with both males and females. While she could play for hours, she'd also be perfectly content as an only dog, as long as she gets plenty of playtime and activity. Cally is fantastic with children of all ages and is always gentle and friendly. She's also very welcoming to strangers and loves meeting new people.
Ideal Home
Cally thrives on daily playtime and opportunities to run, ideally at least twice a day. She also needs a crate where she can decompress and plenty of toys to keep her entertained. A family or person willing to keep up with her energy levels and continue her training will be the perfect match.
Ongoing Health
Cally is up-to-date on vaccinations and spayed.
Training & Support
Cally is house-trained, crate-trained, and does well in a car kennel. She sleeps soundly through the night and can nap during the day if she's had potty breaks and playtime. While she's learning to have more freedom indoors, she still needs supervision to prevent her from chewing on shoes or blankets. She does not have separation anxiety. Cally needs to be fed separately from other dogs due to resource guarding tendencies around food, though she is fine with humans. Feeding her in her crate works well to ensure a stress-free mealtime. She does not guard toys or treats. She may pull on leash initially due to excitement but calms down with continued training.
