Meet Luke, a handsome 2-year-old small Lab mix who's ready to find his happily-ever-after home. Luke was found by a Good Samaritan in a fenced field with no food, water, or shelter. He was underweight and had open wounds on his jowls from trying to chew through the fencing to escape. Thankfully, his wounds have healed, he's gained healthy weight, and he's now ready for his forever family. Luke is an enthusiastic, high-energy pup who would thrive with an active person or family. He's dog-friendly and would do well with another dog that matches his energy level. He can be a bit enthusiastic when meeting new friends, so slow introductions are recommended. He loves people of all ages, including children, though older kids are best since his playful nature could accidentally knock over little ones.
