Ziva

Meet Ziva! This gorgeous 3-year-old, 80-pound Rottweiler girl is ready to find her forever home. Ziva's previous owner sadly passed away, and she found herself living outdoors for a while before a neighbor stepped in to help. Now safe in a foster home, Ziva is fully vaccinated, microchipped, spayed, and eager to start her new life. She's a "slow burn" who blossoms with patience and time, making her truly worth the wait!

Ideal Home

Ziva would do best with an experienced Rottweiler owner who can give her the time she needs to acclimate and feel comfortable. She would thrive in a home without children, as she needs a calm environment where she can warm up at her own pace. While Ziva is cat-friendly and has lived with multiple cats, she would prefer a home without other dogs, or with a patient owner experienced in introducing dogs slowly and carefully.

Ongoing Health

Ziva is up-to-date on all her vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed.

Training & Support

Ziva is fully potty trained and has never had an accident indoors. She's comfortable free-roaming in the house. While she sometimes uses her crate for rest, she has not been crated. Ziva does exhibit resource guarding and would benefit from being fed separately. She can be a puller on leash and would appreciate further leash training to walk calmly by your side. She is reactive to other dogs, bikers, and joggers on walks, so continued support in this area will be beneficial.
