Hi there! My name is Milo, and I'm a sweet, loving, and affectionate boy who's about 2 years old and weighs around 66 lbs. I ended up here because my previous owner could no longer keep me. I'm a super happy guy who absolutely adores attention! I've met many dogs here at the shelter and have gotten along wonderfully with all of them – I love to play! I've always been an indoor dog and am said to be housebroken. I do experience some separation anxiety, so a very sturdy crate is best when I'm home alone. When I'm left to my own devices, I tend to pace, which can make my paws sore. I'm really hoping to find a loving family soon so I can trade my kennel for a cozy home! If you're looking for a wonderful companion to add to your family, please consider giving me a chance.
Ideal Home
A loving family who can provide attention and a safe space. A sturdy crate is recommended for when I need to be left alone.
Ongoing Health
I am housebroken and have been given a parvo/distemper vaccine, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, and 3 days of panacur de-wormer. I have also been tested for heartworm. I will be spayed or neutered before adoption.
Training & Support
I am housebroken. I do have some separation anxiety and do best if kept in a very heavy duty crate when I am left alone.
Application Details:
- Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
- Our adoption fee is $152, payable by cash, check, or credit/debit card (a 2.39% convenience fee applies to card payments).
- We offer a "foster-to-adopt" program, which is highly recommended if you're unsure about a new pet. This allows you a couple of weeks to ensure I'm a good fit before the adoption is finalized.
- If a dog has medical needs, we ask for assistance with medical bills in addition to the adoption fee, if possible.
- All dogs are considered urgent due to the nature of a county shelter.
