Sadie is a playful and energetic young girl with a gentle heart. She can be a little cautious when meeting new people, but with patience and kind affection, she quickly begins to relax and show her sweet personality. She loves to run, play, and especially enjoys hugs and cuddles once she feels safe. Sadie is joyful, loving, and full of energy. She is Balu’s sister, and they share the same rescue story. In October 2024, they were found abandoned along with their siblings in a planter outside a school. They were very young and crying when they were rescued. Since then, Sadie has been waiting for her chance to experience life in a loving home.
Ideal Home
Sadie would thrive in a home that understands her need for a little time to build trust and is willing to give her the love she deserves. She needs a home with a fenced backyard and an active family that enjoys outdoor activities. Families should have a real intention to rescue a dog, with an open conscience about the needs of street animals and their behaviors. Experience in dog behavior and training is preferred, or a willingness to hire a trainer. High tolerance and patience for rescued puppies are a must.
Ongoing Health
Sadie has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated (DHPPI, Rabies, Bordetella), dewormed, and microchipped. She has tested negative for heartworm and 4DX. She receives monthly preventive protection (Nexgard Spectra) for fleas, ticks, and heartworm.
Training & Support
Sadie is not house-trained. Rescued dogs may have fears and anxieties due to past experiences and need time to adapt to new environments and people. Patience, understanding, a safe and loving environment, and a consistent routine with clear boundaries are crucial to help build trust and strengthen the bond.
