Jeffery

Jeffery is a 2-3 year old male Staffordshire Terrier mix who weighs approximately 90-95lbs. He's a gentle giant with people and loves to cuddle on the couch, making him a perfect companion for movie nights. Jeffery was found dumped at the Dallas shelter and is looking for a fresh start. He is a total sweetheart and would be a loyal companion to the right person or family.

Ideal Home

Jeffery would do best in a home with a single person, a couple, or a family with older children 12 years or older. He needs to be the only dog in the home, as he does not get along with other male dogs and is questionable with female dogs. He enjoys leisurely walks but is not suited for running or hiking. Absolutely no tie-outs or electric fences will be permitted.

Ongoing Health

Jeffery is heartworm negative and up to date on all his vaccinations.

Training & Support

Jeffery is crate trained and potty trained. He knows his commands and is very responsive; if you raise your voice while walking him, he will back up and sit beside you.

Transportation

Jeffery is currently in a foster home in Ft. Worth, TX. Transportation will be arranged by our rescue post-adoption.
