Emma

Emma is a sweet senior Jack Russell Terrier mix who came to us when her family faced homelessness and made the difficult but selfless decision to relinquish her. She's settled in wonderfully at her foster home and, despite being 10 years young, she's still quite active! Emma walks beautifully on a leash and is already house-trained. She's a smart cookie and knows tons of tricks, including sit, spin, paw, and play dead, all of which she'll happily perform for a tasty treat. Emma is a friendly girl, but she's definitely a "small circle" kind of lady – she'll pick her people and isn't afraid to let others know they're not her favorite. One important note: when Emma is sound asleep in her bed, it's best to let her rest undisturbed; she really doesn't like being woken up. Some might call her a sleeping beauty! Regardless, Emma is ready to bring wonderful companionship to her forever home.

Ideal Home

Emma would love a home where she can be part of a small, close-knit family. She needs an owner who understands and respects her need for undisturbed sleep.

Emma is a senior dog and has been spayed and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Emma is house-trained and walks well on a leash. She knows many tricks and performs them for treats! The main thing to be mindful of is not to disturb her when she is sleeping.
