Ruby

Ruby is a 6-year-old, 67lb bundle of love who's ready to fill your home with joy! This cuddly lap dog has a unique talent for flipping and flopping her way into your heart and onto your lap. She's a devoted shadow, following her people everywhere and finding comfort sleeping at their feet. Ruby sports the sweetest, silliest smile you've ever seen and enjoys leisurely walks on a leash. She's also a fantastic car companion, loving to stick her head out the window and take in the sights and smells. During a recent "Dog's Day Out," Ruby showed her love for the water and was a perfect car passenger. While she was curious about other dogs, she was easily redirected, proving she's a quick learner.

Ideal Home

Ruby would thrive in a mature home without young, noisy, or busy children, as they can be a bit overwhelming for her. She's a bit of an introvert around other dogs, preferring one-on-one interactions or smaller, calm groups of canine friends. A slow introduction to any resident pets is highly recommended.

Ongoing Health

Ruby is spayed and has no known ongoing health conditions at this time.

Training & Support

Ruby can be a little nervous around loud noises or fast movements, so a calm and predictable environment will help her feel secure. She's not a big fan of being in her kennel at night and would much prefer to sleep near you. She's curious about cats and would likely do best with a slow introduction.
