Oreo

Oreo is a one-year-old mystery mix, weighing in at 55-60 lbs, who is ready to fill your life with fun and cuddles! He's a unique blend of American Staffordshire Terrier, Australian Cattle Dog, and American Pit Bull Terrier, with a touch of a dozen other breeds, making him truly one-of-a-kind. Oreo had a rough start, being found abandoned, but he's a resilient and sweet boy who is eager to find his forever family. Whether you're looking for a car-ride companion or a professional snuggler, Oreo is your guy! He's a social butterfly who enjoys car rides and is a gentleman around people and other dogs. After short bursts of energy, Oreo is content to relax and is a huge fan of television, especially "Clifford the Big Red Dog." He's also discovered the joy of couch snuggles and is a world-class cuddler.

Ideal Home

Oreo gets along wonderfully with other dogs and is very sweet-natured. Due to his enthusiastic greetings, we recommend a home with children ages 10 and up. He hasn't met a cat yet, but we're happy to do a feline introduction if requested. Oreo also has a funny habit of dipping his front paws in his water bowl while he drinks, which is sure to bring a smile to your face!

Ongoing Health

Oreo is fully vetted and ready to go! His adoption includes a comprehensive health package: he is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations (Rabies, DHLPP, and Bordetella). He has been recently dewormed and is on monthly prevention for fleas, ticks, and heartworm. Within 10 days of his travel, he will receive a fresh health certificate exam and a fecal exam to ensure he's in perfect health.

Training & Support

Oreo has shown great potential, with no accidents indoors and an apparent understanding of potty training. He enjoys short bursts of "zoomies" but is otherwise low-maintenance, content to relax after a good walk or play session.

Oreo is currently waiting in Oklahoma. We utilize a dedicated transport service to bring pets to their forever homes at convenient stops in various states. The transport schedule is set by the transporters and families must be available to meet at the scheduled arrival time and location.
