Meet Star Shepherds. Star Shepherds breed the original large boned straight back German shepherd dogs. I have a deep love and passion for the breed that was instilled in me as a young child because my father had them in the military and brought dogs back from Germany for family. German shepherds have always been #1 in my heart and restoring the original healthy strong dogs is my goal. We have multiple generations on site and multiple generations of health tested dogs. Each dog is different with a different personality and temperament, and therefore we closely monitor each puppy from the day it is born, and temperament test each puppy when old enough. We do our best to help match you with the right dog/puppy for your individual needs and lifestyle. Our pups are mostly house trained by the time they leave. We have been kennel inspected and "compliant", meaning we passed all areas 100% by AKC as of 12/2025.
