Meet Red, our longest resident! This smiley 4-year-old pittie mix is an energetic, affectionate boy with a true zest for life. He was rescued from a rural Florida shelter that was devastated by hurricanes Helene and Milton. After 1.5 years, Red is still waiting for his forever home! He's been wonderful in our care, enjoying playtime, zooming around with staff, and soaking up snuggles from volunteers. He is fully housetrained and a favorite for doggy day outs and foster adventures! Red is happy 24/7 and is sure to bring a smile to your face. He tends to prefer the company of female dogs and people, but with slow and proper introductions, he can become friends with all. Transporation

Red is located in South Carolina and we transport to the Northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. We provide local or virtual meet-and-greets with an application on file.
