Hey there, I’m Cletus! One of the most handsome hounds around. In addition to my good looks, you may have heard about my absolutely legendary cuddles – I'm one of the best snuggle bugs you'll ever meet. Sometimes I can be a bit shy with new people, but anyone will tell you, my love is worth the wait, and it doesn't take long at all, I promise! I am not as young as I used to be, and as they say, with age comes wisdom… and arthritis. A quiet and laid-back home would be best for me. I’d prefer to be the only pet in the home since I can be pretty picky about my four-legged friends. Once I’m comfortable with my new environment and after I’ve built up trust and confidence with my new family and home, I would be up for more mellow kinds of adventures. I'm a perfect gentleman on car rides, so taking me out and about would be a fun time for me! I’m happy to lounge around on the couch, but I’d also be interested in checking out hiking trails and tapping into my hound senses. But for now, mellow walks, snuggles, and movie nights are some of the things I like best. My birthday is 1/1/2014.
Ideal Home
A quiet and laid-back home would be best for me. I’d prefer to be the only pet in the home. For safety's sake, we are looking for homes with physically fenced-in areas.

I am not as young as I used to be, and with age comes wisdom… and arthritis.

I am house-trained. I am a perfect gentleman on car rides.
