Hi there! My name is Franz, but my foster mom affectionately calls me NewGuy! I'm a happy-go-lucky fellow, about 2 years old, and my favorite place to be is right by your side. I'm looking for an active family to join me on all sorts of adventures – I just love meeting new people and other dogs! I haven't met any cats before, but I have a feeling I'd get along with them too. The hardest part of my day is when my foster mom leaves for work. I try my best to convince her to stay by going completely limp and flopping onto my back when she puts me in my crate, but she just calls me a character and tucks me in anyway! I have a ton of energy and would love a companion who can keep up with my zoomies. I can be a bit too enthusiastic for smaller or older dogs, so a dog my size or larger would be ideal. If I were the only dog in the house, that would be great too – it just means I'd get all the attention!
Ideal Home
I'd love an active family with older kids who can join me on adventures. I can be a bit much for smaller or older dogs, so a canine companion my size or larger would be best, or I'd be happy to be the only dog.
Ongoing Health
All age-appropriate vaccinations including rabies, heartworm test if age-appropriate, de-worming, microchip, fecal test, spay/neuter, and heartworm and flea/tick preventative are included with the adoption fee.
Training & Support
I'm still working on my crate training, and I try to use my cuteness to avoid it! My foster mom says I'm a character, and I guess I'll just have to learn to love my crate.
