Apollo

Apollo is a big, happy goofball who is just over a year old and weighs around 79 lbs. He's a German Shepherd / Great Pyrenees mix with a sweet and smart personality. Apollo loves receiving hugs, pets, and spending time with his people. He's very active and enjoys running outside, playing fetch, and chewing on sticks. He's also comfortable with regular grooming and loves the snow.

Ideal Home

Apollo would thrive in a home with a fenced backyard and a family that can give him plenty of exercise and attention, ideally someone who works from home. He needs a cat-free home as he gets too excited and plays too rough with them. He's best suited for an active family ready for his size and energy.

Ongoing Health

Apollo experienced some digestive issues early on, which may have been a reaction to NexGard Plus. He is now doing well on Purina Sensitive Stomach food with added fiber and probiotics.

Training & Support

Apollo knows commands like sit, down, wait, shake, and crate. He is also house-trained. He is working on his leash walking skills and his "come" command, which are improving. He is crate-trained and can stay in his crate for several hours when needed.

Transporation
