Rex, a.k.a. Rexie the Bestie, is a bubbly, outgoing 68lb Black Lab mix with an estimated birthday in September 2020. He's a tall, dark, and handsome boy who loves to run, play, and sit for treats. Rex craves validation and will shower you with guaranteed kisses! He's a volunteer favorite who easily snuggles into laps, proving he thinks he's a lap dog despite his size. Rex was rescued as a stray and has overcome a difficult past, making him ready to find a loving forever home to share all his affection. He's attended adoption events with great success, even enjoying an Astro's watch party and dog-friendly dinners with his best buddy, Bambi, where he remained patient and enjoyed people-watching.

Ideal Home

Rex would thrive in a home where he can be by your side. He enjoys the company of female dogs and can be friendly with male dogs after proper introductions.

Rex is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.

Training & Support

Rex is kennel and potty trained. He is described as dog selective, so gentle introductions to other dogs are recommended.
