Diya

Diya is a sweet approximately 5.5 to 6-year-old mixed breed girl with a charming personality. She was surrendered to us when her previous owner experienced life changes. Diya truly believes everyone is her friend and has no reservations about meeting new people, diving right in to declare them as such! She arrived a bit on the hefty side, but has since slimmed down beautifully to a healthy weight. While she's a mature lady, Diya still has a pep in her step and is a powerhouse during playgroups in the yard.

Ideal Home

Diya's exuberance and strength means she might be too much for very young children, as she could easily knock them down. A home that can handle her enthusiastic greetings would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

As a white bully breed mix, Diya can experience occasional skin issues, particularly in wet conditions. She is currently on a sensitive skin and coat diet that helps manage her sensitivities. When flare-ups occur, they are easily controlled with Benadryl and sometimes initial antibiotics.

Training & Support

Diya's "zero meet and greet protocol" means she's eager to make friends, but this boundless enthusiasm might need some gentle guidance in new social situations.
