Whoopi - A Sweet Girl Hoping for a Miracle

Whoopi is an unforgettable girl with a heart full of love to give. She was found abandoned and alone, but thanks to the kindness of a rescuer, she's now on the path to a happy, healthy life. She was diagnosed with heartworm, but is undergoing treatment and is expected to make a full recovery. Whoopi is a cuddlebug who adores belly rubs and face scratches. While she enjoys playful moments, she's generally a calm and easygoing companion who loves napping by your side. Her sweet smile and soft cheeks are sure to capture your heart.

Whoopi is a smart cookie, already potty trained and knows "sit." She quickly picks up on routines and heads right to her treat spot after walks. She's a respectful housemate, only chewing her toys, and loves car rides. Whoopi is a loyal and devoted companion who forms deep bonds with her family.

Ideal Home

Whoopi would thrive in a home without cats. We are still learning about her interactions with other dogs, as she had one incident with a dog known to be aggressive. A fenced yard would be ideal for her as she continues to build confidence.

Ongoing Health

Whoopi is being treated for heartworm and is expected to make a full recovery.

Training & Support

Whoopi is learning leash manners with a prong collar and has shown great progress. She is respectful in the home and only chews on her toys.
