Meet D.J.! This sweet boy was found at just six weeks old with his seven siblings, hiding under brush near the Colibri neighborhood in Bucerias. Scared and tiny, they were all very nervous at first, but with time and love, they blossomed into playful, loving pups. D.J. is still a bit timid, and while he's gentle and wants to trust, the shelter environment keeps him a little unsure. With patience, kindness, and a calm home, this boy will absolutely blossom. He does wonderfully with other dogs and would benefit from having a confident dog friend to follow and learn from. D.J. is an estimated 45 lbs and is best suited for a quieter home without young children. He has been waiting for someone gentle enough to help him feel safe.

Transportation

D.J. is located in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Transport to approved adopters is available via flight companions. During the summer months, if a Canadian flight companion is unavailable, dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border. This has been a successful option for many adopters.
