Max

Max is a fun-loving, slightly independent yet affectionate guy with a playful spirit and a heart full of love to give. His previous family shared that he is house-trained, has done well with free-roaming the house while home alone, and is a very lovable companion. Max can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once he knows you, his excitement shines through! He's a happy guy who loves being around his favorite people. He takes treats gently, sits nicely when asked, and has a wonderful mix of good manners and goofy charm. At the shelter, Max has discovered that playing ball is one of his favorite things in the world. He'll happily bring the ball right back for another throw - and sometimes he gets so excited that he'll carry two balls at once! His silly side also comes out when he plays with stuffy toys, giving them a good shake and having the best time. When he's done playing, Max enjoys attention from his people, but he's also perfectly happy entertaining himself. All dogs will be neutered, vaccinated with age-appropriate vaccines, heartworm tested, current on parasite prevention and microchipped.

Training & Support

Max takes treats gently, sits nicely when asked, and has a wonderful mix of good manners and goofy charm. He will go home with a free training scholarship.
