About Gissel

Meet Gissel! This lovely German Shepherd mix, weighing 35lbs and estimated to be born around November 12, 2024, is ready to fill your life with joy. Gissel is a medium-sized pup with a heart as big as they come, overflowing with affection for everyone she meets. She's already a pro at making friends, getting along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and people. Gissel is leash-trained and loves exploring the world on walks, but she's equally happy to snuggle up beside you. Before finding her way to us, Gissel was a devoted mother, caring for her puppies after being rescued from a euthanasia list. Now that her little ones are grown, it's her turn to be cherished. She's gentle, affectionate, and happiest when by your side, whether you're out and about or enjoying a quiet evening at home. Gissel is dreaming of a family to call her own – could it be yours?

Gissel thrives in a home where she can be close to her people and enjoys the company of other dogs and cats.

Transportation

Gissel is located in Houston, TX, and transportation is included in the adoption fee. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360 and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are also available to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be prepared to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
