Vega

Hi there, I'm Vega! I'm a 6-year-old, 70-pound, brindle and white boxer with a heart full of love and a spirit ready for adventure. I'm an extremely loving, smart, and playful boy who enjoys running and exploring. I'm eager to please, especially with a tasty treat in hand. I'm neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative, so I'm all set to join your family! My foster mom says I have a ton of drive and would excel at dog sports, as I love to work.

Ideal Home

I'm looking for an active home with a firm owner who can keep up with my energy and take me on adventures – I'm definitely not a couch potato! Because of my high prey drive, I should not be around cats or other small animals. I'm dog selective and would need slow introductions to any potential canine companions. I do well with children, but older kids are best due to my size and boisterous nature.

Ongoing Health

I am neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm negative.

Training & Support

I can be crate reactive and experience some barrier frustration, but I'm making great progress in learning to manage these behaviors. I also need more practice with leash training as I tend to pull; a gentle leader might be helpful.
