Meet Alfred! This happy, loving, and fun 4-year-old foxhound mix is a true gem who has never met a stranger. He adores other dogs and children, and is always up for an adventure! Alfred enjoys playing outside, going for walks, snuggling with staff, and soaking up all the attention. He’s a star pup for volunteers and is working hard on his household manners, walking wonderfully on a leash. We promised Alfred that the rest of his life would be the best of his life – could that be with you?

Transportation

Alfred is located in South Carolina and is transported to the northeast weekly. Applicants not located along the East Coast should be willing to travel to pick up their pet. Local or virtual meet-and-greets are available with an application on file.
