Max can be a bit shy when faced with new situations, but with patience and reassurance, he opens up beautifully. Once he trusts you, his affectionate and playful side really shines. He enjoys the company of other dogs, but he’ll need slow, thoughtful introductions to help him feel secure and set him up for success. With time and proper guidance, he can blossom into a wonderful canine friend. Ideal Home

Max may be a bit too much for very small children, but older, dog-savvy kids could be a great fit.

Ongoing Health

All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick-borne diseases (if old enough), microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as dental work and major surgeries.

Training & Support
